I’ve used information from pmm in an essay / article I’ve written. How do I reference to it?

That depends on the referencing style you are using. See http://libguides.ncl.ac.uk/referencing for an excellent overview of the most common styles. Make sure you have written the information in your own words to avoid plagiarism.
